Anonymous: Know any married folk? Think they ruined their lives?
What is this referring to? I have seen plenty of unhappy marriages and I have seen some happy ones. I have definitely seen first hand my parent’s marriage fall apart in front of me. Divorce can ruin lives. My parents are both in massive amounts of debt for it. I feel that weddings are a huge waste of money for a fancy, white party; when, that money could be used to buy a couple’s first home. Marriages in the American sense, are Christian. I am not Christian and do not partake in religious activities.
